Energy Clinic
Assisting you in all your electricity and billing needs
How can we help?
We are a local group available for face-to-face or over the phone appointments offering help with any electricity billing and metering issues you may have. We have public drop-in clinics, held in Porthcressa Library, if you want to discuss any billing and metering concerns in a comfortable environment or you can email us to ask a question and we will get back to you in a timely manner.
Who we are
The Energy Clinic is a team based on the islands that want to help with your electricity queries. We are a group who understands the difficulties of dealing with electricity providers not meeting the needs of our islands.
Our Goals
Help people understand their electricity bills.
Help people resolve electricity queries.
Improve access to smart meters on Scilly for those who want them.
Help people reduce their electricity bills.
Helping your home
We can advise you on ways to make your house more energy efficient, this includes insulation and types of heating.
We can help you find energy tariffs that are better suited to your lifestyle.
Many older buildings here in Scilly struggle with mould during the colder months, we can advise you on cost-effective ways to reduce or prevent the damp and stop the mould.
Where We Are
Our clinics are held at the Porthcressa Public Library. We are next to the back of 'Dibble & Grub' and the Sibley's Fuel & Laundry Service building.
The Next Off-Island Clinics
We are based on St Marys but our off-island clinics and public events to Bryher, St Agnes and St Martins will be posted here.
